Manny Machado’s Ridiculous Play Sets Up a Mark Trumbo Walk-Off Bomb

Homers, Incredible Plays

Manny Machado did not waste any time putting his Gold Glove caliber defense to work on Opening Day.

That dive. And that throw. From a knee? My goodness!

It’s nice to have baseball back in the fold. But it’s an absolute joy to have Manny Machado doing Manny Machado things in the extra innings of a tied game on Opening Day.

Naturally, Machado’s defensive heroics helped set up teammate Mark Trumbo to walk off a winner.

Add some slick defensive work to an absolute bomb off the bat of Trumbo and you have a winning formula right there.

Welcome back, Orioles Magic.
