Scott Richmond is a Canadian pitcher who once played for the Toronto Blue Jays, but now earns his bucks playing in China.
Indeed, the 6’5″, 220 LBs right-hander just signed a new deal with the Fubon Guardians of the CPBL (Chinese Professional Baseball League) earlier this winter, after winning a championship there last season.
But why he chose to continue playing abroad instead of sticking around Major League Baseball beats me … especially considering the fact that, for him, baseball’s so easy he can do it lying down:
