Mississippi State University’s center fielder, Amanda Ivy, crashed into the outfield wall at full force in the top of the sixth inning yesterday, in what was ultimately an unbelievably fearless catch:
The out was good for the second of the inning, and although a run scored on the tag-up, no further runs crossed the plate – preserving the tie.

Unfortunately, Arkansas did add one more run an inning later, and MSU eventually lost by a final score of 5-4. But still, that was one hell of a play.
