In baseball, bats get broken all the time – it’s really not anything special. What’s unusual about this particular broken bat, however, is that it was not made of wood.
Nope. The Florida Gator’s catcher, J.J. Schwarz, somehow managed to break his ALUMINUM bat on a bloop single into left center:
And hey, it scored two runs!
How does it one even do that? Seriously. That is pretty insane (and slightly terrifying). I’m glad it landed safely.
