Earlier this week, I quipped that Byron Buxton could be on his way towards becoming baseball’s best defensive center field. However, if he’s going to do that, he’ll have to go through Kevin Kiermaier first.
Almost inarguably baseball’s best defensive center fielder, Kevin Kiermaier just ended today’s Rays/Indians contest with a home run robbery of Jason Kipnis in the bottom of the ninth inning.

Yeah, if it all possible, I would suggest not hitting baseballs towards Kiermaier. After all, he’s obviously playing with an advantage:
