Whatever plagued Zack Greinke during his first start of the year against the Dodgers (3.2 IP, 7H, 7ER, 2BB, 3K) disappeared last night.
Over six innings in San Diego, Greinke allowed just three earned runs on six hits and no walks while striking out an impressive 10 Padres batters. But most impressively, he launched not one, but TWO homers of his own out of the ballpark.
Check it out:
Zack Greinke has blasted 2 HRs and struck out 10.
The last pitcher to accomplish this feat was Madison Bumgarner on 4/2/17. The opposing pitcher in that game? Zack Greinke. pic.twitter.com/CIZeeVrvue

Greinke now has TWO MORE HOME RUNS this season than Mike Trout, Aaron Judge, Joey Votto, Jose Ramirez, Juan Soto, Miguel Cabrera, and a number of other star sluggers.
And it’ll probably totally stay that way the whole year, too.
