Baseball Is Fun

Well, this is certainly not something you see everyday.

Yesterday, a Diamondbacks fan named Michael Ravare went to a D-Backs/Rockies game at Coors Field with his sister and young nephew (his first baseball game!), when he Tweeted a request to an account he thought belonged to Diamondbacks broadcaster Steve Berthiaume.

Ravare asked if he and his party could come up to the booth to say hello, and the parody account said, hey, sure, why not:

As you can imagine, the results are extraordinarily funny and awkward – especially when Berthiaume revealed that not only was that not his Twitter account, he wasn’t even ON Twitter anymore.

Check it out:

Fortunately, everyone played it pretty cool and the result is a pretty great story. My only remaining question is … how the hell did they make it into that booth without being stopped or questioned further?!

Also, LOL @ the parody account who has #noregrets:
