More. Mic’d. Up. Baseball. Players. Please.
We’re just four days removed from one of the best in-game Mic’d Up combos I’ve ever seen – Anthony Rizzo and Kris Bryant – and I’ve never wanted more. The latest – Freddie Freeman against the Red Sox – is just another example of how much fun it can be when there’s a mic on the right guy in the right circumstance.
With two outs and a full count, Freeman takes off from first on a shallow pop-up that should’ve ended the inning. But like a true gamer, he notices the wind, puts his head down, turns on the gas, and SCORES from first.

“There’s wind boys, there’s wind!”
You gotta love seeing that kind of hustle … from a 10-year-veteran … and four-time All-Star … in Spring Training … in the bottom of the first inning. Some people ball different than others.
