Watching Stars Play Backwards Is Messing With My Mind

If the COVID-19 pandemic has done ANY good for this world it’s exposing the interesting revelations at the depths of our collective boredom.

The CBS Sports writer had a little extra time on his hands this afternoon and decided to wrinkle my brain. It’s a simple trick – flipping famous MLB highlights horizontally – but the effects are sticking with me. I just can’t unsee Clayton Kershaw as a righty:

And how about Mike Trout as a lefty? That’s REALLY weird.

I was so close to this Bryce Harper home run – emotionally, that is – that this one, I could do without.

And watching Albert Pujols terrorize us at Wrigley Field for years makes this stick out, too:

But Ichiro … as a righty. Just … NO. PLEASE. Not with his running swing. It looks all wrong!
