Zack Greinke is a good pitcher – a really good pitcher. He’s a six-time All-Star, a one-time Cy Young award winner, and a two-time MLB ERA leader. He’s so good, in fact, that he has previously gotten away with *visibly* telling his catcher – and incidentally, the hitter at the plate – exactly what he intends to throw just before throwing it.
But he tried that trick again, today, and the results were … not so good (LOL):

LMAO! COME ON.
Just before the pitch, Greinke holds up the old No. 2 and 1 second later, Ramon Laureano took that No. 2 and deposited it into the left field bleachers for a three-run home run in the postseason. Nice try, Zack … but I wouldn’t do that again.
I guess this is just the postseason of absurd strategies that make absolutely no sense.
