After watching Javy Báez close up and personal for the last seven+ years, I’ve got to see some wild stuff on the baseball diamond. But not even El Mago has swiped three straight bags – including home – on one play. Especially not without the ball even leaving the infield or any major throwing/catching errors.
Nope, this absurdity from Ole Miss’ shortstop Peyton Chatagnier is the product of mental mistakes from his opponents and some good, old fashioned guts.
I mean, come on … the play STARTS with Chatagnier getting picked off first, and he still managed to grab three extra bases. Even Johnny Damon could take only two.
