Wander Franco may have been the most recent No. 1 prospect in all of baseball. And he may have had a fantastic big league debut for the Rays last season, slashing .288/.347/.463 (127 wRC+) as a 20-year-old shortstop, but his privileges aren’t endless.
For example, he just can’t park his Range Rover in the president’s parking spot. A lesson he learned the hard way earlier this morning:
You guys I am dead.
Wander Franco parked in @RaysBaseball GM Erik Neander’s spot today at spring training.
As a result, Kevin Cash had them pull Wander’s car out onto the field during workouts. pic.twitter.com/3YhMrAZR3d

“We’re gonna take BP and leave it right there!” LOL. That’s a lesson well learned.
