How Does a Ground Ball Up the Middle Become a “Home Run”?

Little League home runs count as home runs in my book. And while this grounder off the bat Cristian Pache will technically be scored as a single + error, I think we should all call it what it is … hilarious. Oh, right, right: Also, a homer.

I love it when this happens:

If you watch until the end of the clip, you’ll see that Pache wasn’t even busting it out of the box. But the combination of the deflection off the glove of Randy Arozarena and the issues Kevin Kiermaier had picking it up gave him enough time to come all the way around to score. Beautiful.
