TWO-OUT, TWO-STRIKE, WALK-OFF GRAND SLAM in EXTRA INNINGS!

Baseball Is Fun

Franchy Cordero and the Boston Red Sox just beat the Seattle Mariners in one of the most exciting ways this game has to offer: A walk-off GRAND SLAM in extra innings. There were even two outs and two strikes! It’s the sort of moment every baseball kid dreams of.

And it was Cordero’s first homer of the season!

Down a run heading into the bottom of the 10th inning, the Red Sox went single, single, out at the plate, single, intentional walk, and a fly out to set up Cordero’s game-winning blast. The ball left his bat at 106 MPH and traveled a convincing 419 feet.

What an unreal moment.
