Sometimes the stars align for a truly special day on the diamond.
Oakland A’s catcher Stephen Vogt is retiring after ten seasons in the game, making today his final day Major League Baseball. As a special tribute, the A’s had Vogt’s kids announce his name for his first at bat of the day:

And then late in the game, in his final at bat in the Major Leagues, Vogt did this:
