Kyle Freeland … Oh My!
I don’t think anyone truly expects the Rockies to make any noise in the NL West this season. But don’t tell Kyle Freeland that. Not during the first series of the year. Not against a division rival.
This is a max-effort, perfect-execution defensive play from the Rockies starter. An Alex Rodriguez jump through from a pitcher, running and falling away from the play, nearly as far as third base.
So impressive.
So far, Kyle Freeland has allowed no runs on two hits, one walk, and one strikeout through 5.0 innings. The Rockies (who also won yesterday) are up 4-0.
