The Greatest Slo-Mo Baseball Video Ever is Not Even About Baseball

Baseball Is Fun

Aaron Judge hitting a 450-foot shot in slo-mo? Good. Watching a bat splinter into five pieces in slow-mo? Definitely cool. The horror in a batter’s eyes as his knees buckle and he realizes that Shohei Ohtani slider is actually going to wind up right down the middle? Gorgeous. I could go on. It’s a sport that can be perfect for slo-mo replays frequently throughout a given game.

Yet, I think today I just saw the best slow-mo baseball video ever, and it’s not REALLY even about baseball.

Watch and enjoy. And then maybe rewatch, because the faces are incredible. It barely seems real:
