I hope Ichiro Suzuki keeps doing baseball things until he’s 100. Because it’s always great.
Earlier this month, Ichiro broke a window while taking batting practice at a high school, and he has continued his tour of TERRORIZING high schoolers by whooping a high school girls all-star team:
50-year-old Ichiro Suzuki pitched a complete-game shutout on 116 pitches against a high school girls team today. He had nine strikeouts, topping out at 86 MPH

This is actually the second time in the last couple years that Ichiro Suzuki has dominated a high school team, so he’s carving himself out a nice cottage industry.
I kid, I kid. Because obviously this is not only a challenging opportunity for the players, but my God, can you imagine getting to do this? To face ICHIRO SUZUKI pitching to you? To pitch AGAINST Ichiro?! Those are forever memories for those players, and it’s pretty cool that he makes it happen.
Also … he got out three times? I know he’s 50, but hey, that’s pretty awesome for those pitchers and defenders!
