Quintin Demps to Chicago Bears on three-year deal, averages $4.5 million per year

Demps, 31, started 13 games in each of the past two seasons with the Texans, and snagged a career-high six interceptions last year. The Bears could certainly use an impact player back there, particularly one with the ability to create takeaways, which was a stark problem for the team in 2016. Demps is the 11th ranked safety available in free agency to PFR, but was not on the PFT top 100.
Bears moves in the secondary are not complete, as they are still rumored to be in on top cornerback A.J. Bouye, and will certainly take advantage of an especially deep draft pool next month.
