There are at least a couple more free agents to keep on your radar for the Bears, even after the primary wave of signings are complete around the league.

The Bears added Prince Amukamara yesterday on a one-year deal (not official yet), but more depth at the position, if not impact, is clearly necessary, even if the Bears aggressively target the secondary in the draft.
Cooper, 27, doesn’t rate especially well at PFF (101st overall full-time cornerback), but he’s a big guy (6’2″, 192 lbs) who could offer a different look, depending on the situation. If nothing else, the Bears need available depth.
Speaking of which, the Bears may be close to signing offensive tackle Tom Compton (Tribune). The 27-year-old was a reserve last year with the Falcons after spending his early years in Washington. Given the back injury to Mike Adams and the shaky play of Bobby Massie in 2016, some additional depth at tackle was a must for the Bears this offseason. Of course, impact would have been preferable, especially with a new quarterback under center, but the best right tackle on the market, Ricky Wagner, wound up choosing the Lions.
