The Chicago Bears could be interesting to watch in 2017 as a new quarterback tries to get a veteran coach out of a two-year losing slump. Alas, the participants in our Twitter poll don’t seem to be overwhelmingly interested in seeing how it would play out on reality television:

While 47 percent wanted to see the Bears on HBO’s Hard Knocks this summer, a 53 percent majority voted against it. Understandably so. The Bears already have enough distractions with as many new pieces in place at quarterback, receiver, secondary, and elsewhere throughout the roster. And don’t forget the heavy turnover among assistant coaches. Another one feels unnecessary.
On the other hand, a behind-the-curtains look at a franchise at a crossroads with a veteran head coach and a young general manager is made-for-TV drama at the surface. But it seems as if more fans would rather pass on watching that scenario unfold. It was a close race, though!
