Happy 2017 NFL Draft Day! Here Is Everything You Need To Know About This Weekend

Let’s be honest, the NFL Draft has been circled on our calendars since the day the Chicago Bears were eliminated from playoff contention.

Perhaps, some of us might have been looking forward to this date before that date even came about. In either case, we’re here and we’ve made it. Give yourselves a round of applause for surviving through this point of the offseason. The reward for your patience (and suffering through a 3-13 season) is the Bears receiving the third pick in the draft. Hooray. Here’s hoping the player chosen with that selection is everything our dreams could imagine.

Here is everything you need to know about the 2017 NFL Draft:

LOCATION

After back-to-back years in Chicago, the NFL shipped the draft out to Philadelphia. And in what is a first for the NFL Draft, it will be held outdoors in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Picks will be announced in an outdoor theater built on what you might know as the steps made famous by the Rocky movies.

  • Friday, April 28: Rounds 2-3, 6 p.m. CT
  • Saturday, April 29: Rounds 4-7, 11 a.m. CT
  • Want to watch the draft? Of course you do. You can tune into ESPN or NFL Network for live coverage. For online updates, you can view on WatchESPN or NFL.com
