We recently discussed factors that could lead to Mitch Trubisky starting as a rookie in 2017. And while I think the best option would be to sit him and allow him to learn the nuances of the game in a low-pressure situation on the sidelines, it could turn out to be a best-case scenario until the team shores up some of its issues at offensive tackle. Still, the numbers posted by Wentz and Dak Prescott above are nothing to sneeze at when it comes to rookie quarterback production.
