If you want to catch up on what was said yesterday by President Trump and responses from the NFL and NFL Player’s Association, Saturday’s Bullets has you covered.
As for the team on the other side of the field, Jamie Erdahl (who will be the CBS sideline reporter for Sunday’s game) reports head coach Mike Tomlin has said the Steelers will not participate in the national anthem. Instead, the team will stay in the locker room.
“We’re not going to play politics. We’re football players, we’re football coaches. We’re not participating in the anthem today,” Tomlin said. “Not to be disrespctful to the anthem, but to remove ourselves from the circumstance.”
