Moments after ESPN analyst Jon Gruden stated he was bored with the Chicago Bears offense, head coach John Fox dug deep into his bag of tricks to find a scoring play:

So who had Pat O’Donnell throwing the first touchdown pass of the Mitch Trubisky era?
Clearly, the Bears’ plan all along was to lull the Vikings to sleep and then surprise them with a sneak attack from an unsuspecting weapon. Chicago hasn’t shown much on offense, though penalties that negated big plays from Trubisky (which would have put the offense in field goal range) and Jordan Howard (which would have been a touchdown) have stifled the Bears offense once again.
Do we have a new quarterback controversy with O’Donnell doing double duty? Only time will tell.
