One of the Chicago Bears’ most important special teams contributors will miss the remainder of the team’s game against the Baltimore Ravens:
Injury Update: Sherrick McManis has been ruled OUT for the remainder of #CHIvsBAL.

McManis left the game in the first quarter with a hamstring injury, walking off very slowly after a punt. He was carted to the locker room for further examination and his return was originally listed as doubtful by the Bears. But after returning from the locker room, McManis was ruled out when he emerged wearing street clothes.
No one on the Bears’ current roster played more total snaps or a higher percentage of snaps while on special teams than McManis, who entered Week 6 having played 116 snaps – or 89.9 percent of the team’s special teams plays.
It’s a bad break for the Bears’ best and most experienced special teams player. Replacing him against a Ravens squad that owns a pretty good special teams unit of their own might be more difficult than expected.
