It’s Friday at the NFL Draft, and the Chicago Bears will continue on their path of talent acquisition in a short while.
Day 1 went about as well as it could have for the Bears, who drafted Georgia’s Roquan Smith, the best linebacker (and arguably the best defender) on the board. And, yes, the highlights are as excellent as you would expect from an All-American linebacker.
Soon, it will be time to continue load the roster with talent.

Bears’ Remaining Picks
Bears Picks
As a reminder, the Bears do not have a third-round pick as it was sent to San Francisco in the Mitch Trubisky trade last year. Had the Bears not made that deal, they would be owners of the sixth pick in the third round – which happens to be the 70th overall selection.
