Rookie wide receiver Anthony Miller is already breaking team records:
This is a #Bears record for camp. 6 footballs by Anthony Miller pic.twitter.com/XKhQhUlUGo

While participating in punt catching drills during the joint practices held by the Bears and Broncos in Colorado, Miller caught six balls! This is what it looks like when mental skills and physical skills come together. So while it’s not necessarily applicable to a game situation (Michael: Now I’m picturing football … with six live balls at once), the amount of concentration it takes to catch a ball WHILE HOLDING FIVE OTHERS is next level stuff. To have strong hands and stronger concentration skills to pull this off is pretty flippin’ sweet.
Also notable from the video via NFL Network reporter James Palmer is that Miller continues to spend time fielding punts for the Bears’ special teams unit. Tarik Cohen and Bryce Callahan are the only punt returners listed on the team’s official depth chart, so Miller getting reps there puts us on high alert for something that could be coming on the horizon. Miller did return 20 punts for 136 yards while playing his college ball at Memphis, so this isn’t something totally new to him.
Miller has grown into a fan favorite since being drafted by the Bears in April, and a video like this is only going to help grow the legend.
