The end is near … and we couldn’t be happier.
While Mitch Trubisky and the rest of the Chicago Bears’ starters have moved on to preparing for the Week 1 matchup against the Green Bay Packers, the rest of the team is taking it down to the wire.
It’s the fifth and final preseason game for the Bears, who have dozens of players vying for a few remaining spots on the season-opening 53-man roster. So even though starters aren’t getting meaningful snaps tonight, there are players on the field competing for a future in the game they love.
