Mitch Trubisky has been doing big things in the passing game the last few weeks, but it’s been his legs doing the heavy lifting early in Week 7 against the Patriots.
Trubisky has four rushes and 35 yards, with the highlight coming on this 8-yard touchdown run to give the Bears a 10-7 lead:

We’ve seen Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson use their legs to escape trouble and make big plays, so it was only a matter of time before Trubisky joined his draft classmates in showing off his wheels.
Trubisky is just 2 of 7 for 22 yards in the air, but as we’ve seen often in his 17 games under center, his athleticism allows him to make plays that wouldn’t otherwise be there. His rushing touchdown gave the Bears a 10-7 lead at the end of the first quarter, but my gut says there is going to be a bit more scoring before this day is done.
