The Bears looked to be reeling for a minute there as the Jets put together a scoring drive after two key mistakes by Chicago defenders. But in what might as well be a call-back to old-school Bears football, the offense responded with a clutch scoring drive.
Chicago marched 79 yards in eight plays for a touchdown that was capped off by a two-yard rush by Jordan Howard. But the highlight of the drive might have been this rush from the two-time 1,000-yard rusher:

The Bears mixed it up on that drive with some Mitch Trubisky scrambles and successful passes to Anthony Miller. But seeing the Bears turn back the clock and pound the football with their load-carrying back was certainly a thing of beauty. Howard gained 34 yards on the drive, with the 20+ yard rush breathing life into the offense.
That touchdown gave the Bears a 24-10 lead, one they’ll need the defense in order to hold down the stretch in the fourth quarter.
