… and this doesn’t make me feel any better about it:

The video was unclear and obstructed but the audio was clear. Could hear him scream. Rolled up on from behind which usually means high ankle injury vs MCL. https://t.co/Aq9oOhu9k0— David J. Chao, MD (@ProFootballDoc) October 28, 2018
The rest of the original post is as follows:
The good vibes were flowing as the Chicago Bears were trying to protect a 14-point lead, but an injury to Kyle Long has put a damper on things.
Long went down with an apparent leg injury with 3:37 left in the fourth quarter, and this description from the Chicago Tribune’s Brad Biggs captures the essence of the thing:
Replay shows a mass of humanity falling on Long at the end of the previous play

Not only was Long slow to get up after the play ended, he needed assistance from trainers to walk off the field and couldn’t put any pressure on his right leg as he made his way off the Soldier Field turf. From there, he was carted off to the locker room. It certainly didn’t look good for Long, but the hope is that the injury is a minor one. But the number of worried looks that were being worn on the Bears side of things suggests this could be a serious injury.
Long has been one of the Bears’ better offensive linemen, and his 80.5 pass-blocking grade from Pro Football Focus puts him among the best in the NFL. But Long has had major injury issues the last few years, which have kept him on the sidelines for the better part of the 2016 and 2017 seasons. We’ll keep our eyes open for any updates on Long’s health as they become available.
