Mitch Trubisky isn’t messing around today, folks.
Trubisky has completed 12 of 13 passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns. That’s a perfect passer rating of 158.3, in case you’re keeping tabs at home. And the latest of Trubisky’s greatest hits is this 45-yard strike to rookie Anthony Miller:

That’s Miller’s fourth touchdown reception of the year and third in fourth games. The rookie who was an All-American at Memphis last year is starting to pick up his play. Miller is getting more playing time and showing more strides of development with each week that passes. This is what the Bears envisioned when they drafted him in the second round last spring.
As for the Lions, they look lost defensively and Trubisky is taking advantage of it. Trubisky is shredding Detroit with long drives that end with touchdowns, so it makes sense that the Lions are pointing fingers at one another.
