The Chicago Bears win against the Green Bay Packers that clinched a postseason berth and an NFC North title resulted in an outpouring of emotion from players and fans alike. So it was only right for left tackle Charles Leno Jr. to be swept up in it all and propose to his girlfriend at midfield.
Seriously:
SHE SAID YES!

After the Bears defeated the Packers 24-17, Leno dropped to one knee and proposed to his girlfriend. She said yes, adding another momentous occasion to celebrate at Soldier Field.
The only person who saw it coming was Bears Head Coach Matt Nagy. Leno told ESPN’s Jeff Dickerson he requested permission from the Bears’ head coach to propose after the game. Nagy’s approval should land him with premier seating at the wedding. Well played, coach.
The last two years have been great for Leno in Chicago. Since signing a lucrative contract extension before the 2017 season, Leno has played the two best years of his professional career. Leno has locked it down as the blind-side protection for quarterback Mitch Trubisky and has solidified a spot as one of the league’s most reliable and durable offensive linemen. Not bad for a seventh-round pick from Boise State.
Him : Will you marry me?
Her : Only if you , Beat the Pack & Win the North

Mission accomplished, Charles. And best of luck to the happy couple!
Hopefully that’s the first of many rings that is the first of many rings that will be handed out this winter at Soldier Field.
Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ll be up in my feelings if anybody needs me.
