An important game with playoff implications that will surely provide big moments deserves a big-name voice behind the mic. So perhaps its fitting that FOX is sending its No. 1 broadcast team to Minnesota for the Bears-Vikings Week 17 regular season finale.
Vikings-Bears on Fox will have that big game feel with Joe Buck and Troy Aikman on the call. Vikings fans get their Chrimstas wish of Buck working the regular-seaosn finale.

Merry Christmas, y’all!
FOX Sports is giving the gift of its A-Team broadcast unit to Bears and Vikings fans alike. The crew — which features play-by-play voice Joe Buck, analyst Troy Aikman, and sideline reporter Erin Andrews — will call a game featuring the 2018 NFC North champions for the first time this season. Hey, there’s a first time for everything … right?
It’s not as if the Bears haven’t been in a prime position to be featured by FOX, it’s just that a variety of circumstances have kept it from happening earlier. despite having a handful of primetime games. And because the Bears have played well, networks haven’t been shy to send their top broadcast teams to shine some spotlight on the Bears.
In addition to being flexed twice onto NBC’s Sunday Night Football, CBS has sent its top team to Chicago for the Bears-Jets mid-season showdown and did so again for the team’s Thanksgiving throw-down against the Lions in Detroit. The network also sent its No. 2 broadcast team of Ian Eagle and Dan Fouts to call the Bears’ game against the Patriots earlier in the season. Meanwhile, FOX has been missing in action. Or shall we say had been prior to this move.
You can say what you want about Buck and Aikman (in fact, I expect you to do so in the comments … just keep them clean!) but FOX finally hopping on board adds a little oomph! to what was already a big game. The Bears are back, baby! Soon, it will be time to show a new audience why this team earned a spot as the Kings of the North.
