If you were hoping that two former Andy Reid assistants were going to light up the scoreboard in the final game of Wild-Card Weekend, it’s time to recalibrate your expectations.
Cody Parkey has made both field goal attempts he has been presented with and the Bears have a 6-3 lead against the Eagles.
It’s been a rough first half for both offenses. Alshon Jeffery has made some big plays, but Nick Foles has throw two interceptions. Mitch Trubisky has thrown a few near-picks, but has led two scoring drives despite his struggles in the first half. Any time anyone in navy and orange wants to break off a chunk play is fine by me.
Until then, we’ll have to settle for Roquan Smith’s first postseason interception as the highlight of the half.

After scoring points at the end of the first half, the Bears get the ball to start things after intermission. You couldn’t ask for much more. I mean, other than a bigger lead. But because beggars can’t be choosers, I’ll gladly accept a first-half lead in a playoff game.
Let’s see what halftime adjustments these teams make. If the Bears can pull it off, they’ll take their talents to Los Angeles for a rematch against the Rams in Round 2.
