It doesn’t matter that the Bears and Packers don’t play for another 163 days, it’s never too early to make a wise investment.

The Bears have been installed as a 4-point favorite against the Packers, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. No total has been set for the game (yet), but last year’s opener was set at 45 and the OVER came in, so keep that in mind whenever you come around to placing your bets. As a point of comparison, the Packers were listed as 6.5-point favorites in their home-opener against the Bears in 2018 and a 5.5-point underdog when the two teams played at Soldier Field last December. Those nuggets might be worth saving as a mental note for a later date when you throw down your wagers.
Last season was a profitable one for Bears backers, especially ones who cashed tickets on the over in team wins, as well as futures bets on the team making the playoffs, and winning the division. And when it came to regular-season investments, the Bears were 6-1 against the spread at home and 9-3 overall against the line. They were favored in 12 of their 16 regular-season games and won 10 of those outright. So much winning!
Chicago’s football fans would appreciate if the Bears were big-time money makers in 2019 as they were in 2018, and a win at home against the Packers would definitely get things going on a positive note.
