I am making it a priority to not allow this kicking competition drag us down.
My first step toward making this a reality is sharing this video:
Ahhhhh, now THAT is refreshing.
The Bears are coming off a 12-win season in which they ended a lengthy playoff drought, won the NFC North with a 5-1 record against divisional foes, posted a winning record against teams with winning records and squads that qualified for the postseason. This is a team ready to chase greatness, so much so that the head coach expressed his a belief that his team is ready to put on pads in the middle of June. They’re fired up. I’m fired up. Let’s get to training camp already!
Seriously, how can you not love spirited competition this time of year:
Matt Nagy talked about how his guys really want to get the pads on and compete right now. During a drill, Trubisky appeared to hit Gabriel for a TD but a ref ruled it incomplete. Both sides made their argument and they were pretty animated about it and fired up. #Bears

The kicking situation is unavoidable, and it’s going to bug us until a solution presents itself. But between now and then, let’s not get too bogged down in the silliness. Summer is coming. Competition is on the horizon. And soon enough, the Bears will be ready to defend their turf as the team (and league) get set to celebrate their centennial seasons.
Bear. The. Heck. Down.
