Let’s not act like we haven’t had this game circled on our calendars since the schedule dropped earlier this year.
Khalil Mack getting an opportunity to prove why the Raiders should have shelled out big-time money to give him an extension is the type of storyline drams are made of for guys like me. And while Mack tried to downplay it at times this week, but he is human (super-human on the football field, but I digress), and playing with an extra chip on his shoulder was going to be inevitable. To be fair, the Raiders tackles are no slouches. And I recall Trent Brown slowing down Mack last year when he was with the Patriots (even though it should be pointed out that Mack was already hobbled with an ankle injury that ultimately caused him to miss the next two games).
Mack will be getting plenty of attention from the Raiders, so do not discount his Bears teammates giving a little extra in an attempt to make sure the revenge game goes as well as possible for all parties wearing navy blue and orange.
