A rough start to the Bears’ game against the Eagles could get ugly soon.
This is one injury Chicago’s defense really couldn’t afford:
#Bears injury update:
NT Eddie Goldman (thigh, questionable)— Chicago Bears (@BearsPR) November 3, 2019
The Bears announced nose tackle Eddie Goldman is questionable to return to the game because of a thigh injury. Goldman missed some plays on earlier drives and has been medically checked twice. He had returned to the game after missing some snaps earlier, but hasn’t come back since his second stint in being checked out.
Chicago’s rushing defense hasn’t been the same since Akiem Hicks was sidelined and placed on injured reserve, but the group still had some push with Goldman anchoring in the middle. But if Goldman is out for the rest of this game, you can expect the Eagles to exploit a softened middle of the defense by rushing Jordan Howard and Miles Sanders on end.
We’ll update this as more details come forward.
