Three Bears are still being evaluated for the injuries they suffered in last night’s win against the Cowboys.
Here is the update:
Injuries of Roy Robertson-Harris (foot), Javon Wins (knee) & Roquan Smith (pec) are all still being evaluated.
— Chicago Bears (@ChicagoBears) December 6, 2019
Defensive lineman Roy Robertson-Harris had to leave the game early due to a foot injury, which necessitated x-rays at some point during the game. Wide receiver Javon Wims missed the second half of the game after suffering a knee injury in the end zone on the final drive of the first half. As for Roquan Smith’s pectoral injury, Nagy re-iterated that it doesn’t look good. However, it still needs further evaluation.
In the meantime, I’ll be curious to see what comes of injury report updates for linebacker Danny Trevathan (who has missed the last four games because of an elbow injury), cornerback Prince Amukamara (who was held out of TNF because of a hamstring issue), and defensive lineman Akiem Hicks (on IR since suffering an elbow injury against the Raiders in Week 5 (but practicing!)).
So while there were no specific updates to last night’s injuries, at least Chicago will get extra time to figure out the future statuses of these players because their game isn’t for another nine days.
