Early indications from Bears Head Coach Matt Nagy suggested that the team’s injury report wouldn’t look much different than it did yesterday.
And then today’s injury report dropped:

Thursday’s injury report was similar to what was released on Wednesday, save for one notable exception. Wide receiver/special teams ace Cordarrelle Patterson was listed as a limited participant in today’s practice because of a head injury. That’s an awfully vague description for an injury, especially after Patterson wasn’t on the previous day’s injury report.
Patterson has been a key cog in the Bears’ operations this season. He has starred as a kick returner, excelled as a gunner on coverage teams, and has even chipped in on an offensive play here and there. Considering the magnitude of this week’s upcoming game against the Packers, it would be nice for the Bears to have all hands on deck. Especially those that belong to No. 84 in navy blue and orange.
