After 20 years, Tom Brady is going to be wearing another uniform. It’s going to be weird, and it might even wind up being one of those things where people later go, “Oh yeah, remember that Tom Brady ended his career with the Buccanneers? That was really weird. He was old and bad.”
… or maybe he’ll still be good in his age 43 season. He’s the best of all-time, so I guess I wouldn’t put it past him. Anyway, everyone now says it’s happening:
To be clear: Former #Patriots QB Tom Brady has an agreement in principle to join the #Bucs, source said. It is believed to be roughly $30M per year.

Tampa is the expected landing spot for Tom Brady barring anything unforeseen, sources tell me and @JeffDarlington.
There's no signing date or announcement officially set up, but Brady is expected to be a Buccaneer.

This is going to be so weird. So very, very weird.
Following Brady’s free agency has been a trip. A journey that started during an Adan Schefter media hit on Monday Night Countdown in which he expressed a belief that Brady was setting himself up to leave the Patriots after the season concludes with that scenario playing out.
Most people thought it was nuts at the time:

And now here we are.
What a ride it has been. Maybe it’ll still have some fun twists in the years to come.
