Allen Robinson’s ankle injury went from not being “concerning” to being “concerning” enough that he could miss Week 1 against the Lions in a matter of days.
But the angst that came with not seeing Robinson at practice for a few days can subside for now:

Bears Radio sideline reporter Mark Grote tweeted a seven-second video of Robinson working in drills on Monday. I’m not sure what brought a bigger smile to my face: The brief glimpse of seeing Robinson practice or hearing Clipse’s “What Happened to that Boy?” in the background as he went to work. In any case, Robinson’s return is welcome news for the Bear
Robinson missed his first practice on August 22. A day later, Bears Head Coach Matt Nagy insisted he wasn’t concerned about it. And yet, Robinson’s absence was still noteworthy as it lasted nine days. So with that in mind, we’ll continue to keep up with his progress as he approaches the start of his third year with the Bears.
