Another wide receiver secured the bag with a long-awaited contract extension.
And once again, it wasn’t Allen Robinson:
Per source Robert Woods gets a four-year extension, $32 million guaranteed, up to $68 million, with the Rams

Robert Woods and the Los Angeles Rams have agreed on a four-year extension on Friday. Woods, 28, set career-bests in catches (90) and receiving yards (1,134) in 2019. He was set to be a free agent at year’s end. That won’t be the case now that he’s locked into a new deal. Woods’ new contract will pay him $32 million in guarantees and up to $68 million over the life of the contract. Way to cash in on a booming receiver market, Robert!
Woods is the second Rams receiver to get a truck-load of cash from the franchise in as many weeks. Cooper Kupp, a third-round pick (69th overall) in the 2017 NFL Draft, got his deal done a week ago. Meanwhile, Allen Robinson plays the waiting game. Grumble.
