Injury reports around the league are littered with players who aren’t able to give it a go.
So the Chicago Bears should consider themselves fortunate upon releasing their Friday injury report:

Sherrick McManis is doubtful to play because of a hamstring injury. But because the Bears have held McManis out of practice all week, I wouldn’t expect to see him suit up on Sunday.
McManis, 32, hasn’t played a full 16-game season since 2016. And while he missed just three games between the 2017 and 2018 seasons, McManis missed seven games last season because of a groin injury that ultimately landed him on season-ending injured reserved. If McManis can’t play, the Bears will miss his special teams contributions and the ability to sprinkle him into nickel or dime packages on defense.
Otherwise, the Bears’ injury report looks as good as it can get.
As for the Colts, here it is:

Cornerback T.J. Carrie being OUT because of a hamstring injury could be important. Carrie has played on 62.5 percent of the team’s defensive snaps, as well as more than 52 percent of special teams plays. The 30-year-old Ohio University product has a pick-six under his belt this season, so let’s not overlook this loss.
We’ll have more in the Game Preview later in the afternoon.
