After having weeks of being fortunate on the injury front, the Bears have some real concerns about the status of key players entering a pivotal matchup.
Khalil Mack, Cordarrelle Patterson, Cody Whitehair, and Allen Robinson missed a second consecutive practice due to their respective injuries. Mack is nursing an ankle issue. Whitehair’s calf continues to keep him out of action. Same for Patterson’s quad. And yes, Robinson remains in concussion protocol. It’s possible the Bears are being ultra-conservative with Mack, Patterson, and Whitehair. But even if that’s the case, it’s still worrisome considering each player’s importance to the team’s success.
As for the rest of the injury report, here it is:

In search of a silver lining? That makes two of us. I see Cole Kmet (back) was a full participant in Thursday’s practice. As were Rashaad Coward (finger), Jason Spriggs (back), Ted Ginn Jr. (non-injury resting veteran), and Jimmy Graham (non-injury resting veteran). But seeing Eddie Jackson (knee) makes me feel uneasy.
Friday’s injury report will be the most telling of all, so I’ll hold my breath until that one drops.
