The last thing the Chicago Bears offensive line could afford was another injury. Unfortunately, that’s what happened on their first drive.
Right tackle Bobby Massie has suffered a knee injury:
#Bears injury update:
OL Bobby Massie (knee) questionable— Chicago Bears (@BearsPR) November 1, 2020
Massie has since been replaced by Jason Spriggs, who missed his first pass-blocking assignment (because, of course). The Bears list Massie as questionable to return, but that injury looked pretty rough. Hence, my expectation is that he won’t be back today.
Right now, the Bears have backups at three offensive line spots. Not great for a group in the midst of its biggest struggle of the year.
