Jackson, 26, landed on the list because a close contact away from Halas Hall tested positive for having the coronavirus. But after clearing protocol, Jackson is now squared away to play against the Packers on Sunday. Whew.
The two-time Pro Bowl safety is in the midst of another stellar season. Jackson is making plays in his do-it-all safety role. He’s covering the deep past of the field, chipping in with timely man coverage, and even pulling up in run defense. So, yeah, having him available for Sunday against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers is a big deal.
