In lieu of a lengthy preamble focusing on sub-.500 Bears and Lions teams, here’s a collection of Mitchell Trubisky highlights that confirm his ownership of Detroit’s football team.

Three Bears …
Bill Lazor is the first coach to ever be mentioned in this segment, so congrats to him. This marks Lazor’s first time calling a Lions game for Trubisky, which should make for some interesting play-calls. There is ample tape of what Trubisky does well against Detroit. HOWEVA … the Lions are coming off an extended absence and have a new defensive play-caller. I fully expect Detroit to throw the kitchen sink at Trubisky, which is why Lazor’s game-plan is so important.
Robert Quinn missed the first meeting between these teams while nursing an injury. It would be nice for him to show out, especially if Akiem Hicks can’t play and Khalil Mack gets an extra dose of attention. Quinn collected a season-high four tackles against the Packers last week, but had no sacks or quarterback hits. In fact, Quinn is still searching for his first tackle-for-loss since Week 17 of the 20219 season.
Anthony Miller has been a Lions slayer since debuting in 2018. In his first game against Detroit, he caught five passes, racked up 122 yards, and scored a touchdown. Fast forward to Thanksgiving 2019, when Miller hauled in nine more passes and gained 140 yards. And in the most recent game, Miller caught four passes for 76 yards. That touchdown was a game-winning doozy!
